- LGBTQIA+ identity, gender, and relationships
How Telehealth Therapy in Oregon Works
Sessions take place over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You need a private space, a phone or computer with a camera, and a reliable internet connection. Oregon licensing rules require you to be physically located in Oregon during each session.
Your first appointment is a full assessment. Together we set goals and choose an approach, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, or EMDR. Most clients meet weekly or every other week.
Online ADHD Therapy Anywhere in Oregon
ADHD is the most common reason adults come to us for telehealth therapy in Oregon. Working with an online ADHD therapist from home removes the commute, the waiting room, and one more thing to remember. Sessions focus on practical skills for focus, planning, procrastination, and emotional regulation. Learn more about adult ADHD therapy.

Telehealth Therapy FAQ
Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
For most adults and older teens, research shows telehealth therapy works about as well as in-person care for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. What matters most is the fit with your therapist.
Does insurance cover telehealth therapy in Oregon?
Usually, yes. Oregon law requires state-regulated health plans to cover telehealth much like in-person visits, and the major plans we are in network with cover video sessions. We confirm your benefits before your first appointment.
Can I do EMDR by telehealth?
Yes. EMDR adapts well to video sessions, using visual tracking or tapping you do yourself. Your therapist will make sure you have a safe, private space first.
Telehealth or In Person
Prefer to meet face to face? Our South Waterfront office in Portland is open six days a week. Children, younger teens, and families usually start in person, as do our teen groups. Many adults mix both.
Insurance for Telehealth Therapy
We accept most major Oregon insurance plans, including Aetna, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Moda, UnitedHealthcare, TRICARE West (TriWest), and First Choice Health. See fees and insurance.
