We celebrate neurodivergent minds and reject the pathologizing of differences.

We replace judgment with interest and honor clients as the experts of their own lives.

We grow together, personally and professionally. We trust our clinicians to lead with passion and clinical integrity.

We believe healing happens in connected systems not in silos.

We recognize the impact of trauma, masking, and chronic invalidation.

Therapy doesn’t end at the door. We build community for lifelong connection.
At Our Core,
…we believe therapy should feel like a place where your full humanity is welcomed, not just the parts that fit others’ expectations. We work with people whose minds, identities, and life experiences don’t always align with traditional norms, and we see that as something to understand and support rather than correct.
OneYou offers care that is real, respectful, and shaped around who you are, not who the world expects you to be.
Affirmation
We lead with strengths and identity-affirming care, meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique ways of being. Our approach focuses on autonomy, sensory needs, executive function support, and building genuine connection, rather than expecting people to conform or fit a narrow idea of normal.
We support clients as they are and pay attention to the social and cultural factors that shape their experiences. Our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, embraces and respects racial and cultural diversity, and is committed to providing care that is inclusive, equitable, and free from bias.
Curiosity
Curiosity is one of the most important tools we use. Instead of telling people what to do, we get interested in what life looks like through their eyes.
Our clinicians are trained in motivational interviewing and person-centered approaches. We hold a “no unsolicited advice” philosophy; clients are the experts on their own lives, and we’re here to help them clarify their goals, values, and strengths. Curiosity is something we practice intentionally through supervision and team discussions. We don’t tell anyone how to parent, partner, or cope; instead, we offer evidence-based information when it’s helpful and always with consent.
Growth: Always Training or Being Trained
We’re committed to ongoing development because clients deserve therapists who are supported, inspired, and equipped. This includes flexible schedules and manageable caseloads, protected time for notes and consults, and real investment in continuing education.
Our team has access to stipends and support for advanced training and specializations including IFS, ACT, DBT for ADHD, Polyvagal Theory, OCD treatment strategies, addiction-focused approaches, Autism and relationships, and more. We also offer weekly case consults, clinical supervision for associates, and optional ongoing consultation for licensed clinicians.
Collaborative Care
We work together across disciplines and systems to support clients in a way that feels cohesive and aligned. This includes weekly or biweekly team consults, shared treatment planning, and consistent communication with outside providers like PCPs, psychiatrists, school teams, and executive function coaches.
We also integrate occupational therapy, family therapy, psychiatry, and peer mentorship when it’s helpful. Collaboration with family members, especially parents, is encouraged when it supports the client’s goals and wellbeing.
Trauma-Informed Practice
Every clinician here is trained in trauma-informed and attachment-focused care, whether we’re supporting someone with ADHD, OCD, addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, or complex trauma.
Our trauma-informed work includes IFS and parts approaches, somatic strategies, ACT- and DBT-informed interventions, and a commitment to reducing shame, self-stigma, and internalized pressure to hide who we are. We focus on safety, choice, transparency, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.
Community
We create community spaces where neurodivergent and mental health–impacted individuals can connect with others who truly get it. This includes groups for executive functioning, social connection, OCD support, addiction recovery, late-diagnosed adults, ADHD/Autistic couples, and parents.
Our practice also hosts drop-in spaces, community workshops, and partnerships with local providers for thoughtful referrals. Healing feels different, and often easier, when you’re surrounded by people who understand you.
Our Ethical and Professional Principles
Integrity and Fidelity
We strive to ensure that our actions consistently reflect our values. This means being honest, transparent, and dependable in all aspects of our work. We hold ourselves accountable for following through on commitments to clients and colleagues, and we ground our decisions in established ethical standards. By aligning what we say with what we do, we strengthen trust and maintain a therapeutic environment built on clarity and reliability.
Nonmaleficence
We uphold a deep commitment to doing no harm. This includes actively considering the impact of our choices, reducing any risk of harm when challenges arise, and taking thoughtful steps to repair when unintended harm occurs. We continually reflect on our practices, our biases, and the systems we work within to ensure that our care promotes safety, respect, and dignity for every client we serve.
Confidentiality
We take the responsibility of protecting client privacy seriously. Safeguarding information shared in therapy is central to building trust, fostering emotional safety, and creating space for honest, vulnerable work. We follow legal and ethical guidelines for information security, communicate clearly about limits to confidentiality, and maintain rigorous standards so clients know their stories are held with care.
Competence
We commit to practicing within the scope of our skills, training, and expertise while continually expanding that skillset. This means seeking consultation, pursuing ongoing education, and remaining informed about evolving research and best practices. We recognize that competence is not static; it grows through curiosity, humility, and a dedication to offering care that is both effective and ethically grounded.
Your Well-Being, Our Values
Respect and Dignity
We value each client as a unique individual, recognizing and honoring the richness of their experiences, backgrounds, and identities. This means we actively embrace diversity and a multicultural approach in every interaction. We commit to treating all clients with positive regard, listening attentively, and ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and respected throughout their journey with us. For us, respect isn’t just a principle, but a practice that guides how we engage with every person who walks through our doors.
Autonomy
We honor and support each client’s right to self-governance, empowering them to make informed choices about their treatment, goals, and life path. This involves providing guidance and support while always acknowledging and respecting the client’s capacity to decide what is best for themselves. Our approach is rooted in collaboration: we work alongside our clients, encouraging independence and confidence in their own decision-making, so they feel fully empowered in shaping their personal growth and healing.
Beneficence
We are committed to promoting the overall well-being of our clients, taking actions that are in their best interest and fostering positive change. For us, beneficence means not only providing skilled, evidence-based care, but also going the extra mile to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. We actively seek ways to enhance each client’s life, encouraging growth, resilience, and the pursuit of meaningful goals, always with their unique needs and circumstances in mind.
Empathy and Compassion
We strive to deeply understand and share in the feelings of our clients, recognizing their struggles, joys, and experiences with genuine care. Our approach is grounded in compassion: we respond to suffering with kindness, patience, and sensitivity, creating a space where clients feel truly supported. By meeting clients with empathy, we build connections that foster trust, validation, and healing, ensuring that every person feels valued and understood throughout their journey.
Authenticity
We commit to being genuine, transparent, and sincere in all of our interactions, which helps strengthen the therapeutic alliance. By showing up as our real selves and maintaining professional integrity, we foster a safe environment where clients feel comfortable being authentic in return. Our authenticity allows us to connect more deeply with clients, build trust, and create a collaborative space where growth, self-exploration, and healing can flourish naturally.
