Anxiety Treatment Oregon

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, or a feeling of tension, even when it seems unprompted. It can make everyday situations feel overwhelming or impossible to relax around. Many find that anxiety affects their sleep, focus, and overall sense of ease in daily life.

Symptoms of anxiety are easier to navigate when you have steady support and a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing. OneYou is committed to creating a calm, encouraging environment where you can learn practical skills, understand your patterns, and make progress at a pace that feels right for you. We take your experiences seriously, and your growth is always recognized.

TRAITS + CHALLENGES

Anxiety is one of the most common mental health concerns, affecting people of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles. A significant portion of adults and teens experience anxiety at levels that interfere with daily life.

There are several different types of anxiety disorders, but it is usually recognized by persistent worry, restlessness, irritability, muscle tension, trouble sleeping, or difficulty concentrating. Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorders, and other variations are all treated at OneYou.

ANXIETY + NEURODIVERSITY

Anxiety in neurodivergent individuals is frequently connected to overstimulation, uncertainty, or repeated experiences of being misunderstood. It may present as avoidance, perfectionism, shutdowns, or constant mental overthinking. The ongoing effort to mask or adapt to neurotypical expectations can significantly increase anxiety over time.

DIAGNOSING + TREATMENT

We begin with a relaxed, open conversation about what you’ve been feeling and how it affects your everyday life. Our counselors will ask about your worry patterns, stress levels, physical symptoms, and any triggers you’ve noticed. There’s no pressure to “have the right answers”, the goal is simply to get a clear picture of what you’re dealing with.

Anxiety treatment often focuses on helping you break out of unhelpful worry loops, calm your body’s stress response, and build confidence in facing situations that currently feel overwhelming. For some clients, medication can also be a helpful part of the plan.

Our team applies a mix of mindfulness-based strategies to combat anxiety, including Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).

You don’t have to let anxiety dictate your days. Contact us at OneYou and discover the support that can help you move forward. We offer telehealth statewide in Oregon or in-person sessions at our office in Portland, Oregon.
